Anna Nicole To Be Embalmed!

It just keeps getting crazier!

A Florida judge signed an order on Friday to have the refrigerated remains of Anna Nicole Smith embalmed.

Her lifeless body is in the center of several posthumous battles.

Any decision about releasing her body for burial and to whom it will go to isn't likely until next week at the earliest.

"We're beginning to give her peace," Judge Larry Seidlin said.

Smith's will has not been filed and her estate has not been opened because authorities have not yet issued a death certificate.

Anna reportedly wanted to be buried in the Bahamas, next to her son, and bought a burial plot there, according to attorneys for her lawyer and "lover" Howard K. Stern.

However, Smith's estranged mommy, Vergie Arthur, wants to take the body home to Texas for burial in the family plot.

And she'd probably like to take her millions too!

The courtroom battle between Arthur, Stern and Larry Birkhead is expected to be drag out for weeks if not more.
