As a parent, I am impressed with the focus on safe computing for families that Microsoft has adopted in Vista.  With the release of the Windows Vista, Microsoft has better parental controls tools, family settings, and content controls.

Microsoft works with child safety experts, governmental leaders, family safety software providers,  law enforcement agencies, parents, and many private concerns on a global basis.  Most believe Vista will empower parents to manage their home computing environment better based on their own family values, and will have the net effect of providing a safer computing environment  for children.

This is one of the main reasons I am excited about the release of Vista's family settings and the inclusion of parental controls in the release of Windows Vista.  Vista's Ease of use, choice and flexibility will be apparent as the parental controls are evident and accessible within account set-up process.  As a parent configuring my children’s user accounts on the computer, I was impressed with the granuarity of the options on the interface.
